If you've chosen Kathryn as your photographer you are looking for something different; images of you & your family that are artful, creative, and a beautiful reflection of the personalities you love that will remain classic images for many years to come.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"><b><i>What should I wear?<br> </i> </b>      In terms of clothing textures such as knit, linen, or denim are great. Mid to light colours are best. It's important that all clothes match in tone, even if not in colour. In most cases skin looks better than anything so if women are comfortable wearing a top that shows shoulders & arms, and if men are comfortable taking off their shirt to hold their newborn, all the better!<br>      For babies and young children denim overalls with nothing underneath is great, as is just a diaper - showing those chubby arms and legs is the greatest! Bare feet are encouraged.<br>      It is most important to keep dress casual, jewelry and accessories to a minimum, and your look as close to 'everyday' as possible. It is suggested you bring a few extra items of clothing to choose from.<br>      Pregnancy photography is done in the nude unless you've discussed other plans with Kathryn beforehand. Try to avoid any tight clothing for a few hours beforehand (including bras & elastic around the tummy) to keep your skin clear of lines. </font> </p> </td> <td width="293" valign="top"> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"><b><i>How long will it take?<br> </i> </b>       The length of time of a shoot varies depending on how many subjects will be photographed and their ages. A pregnancy or adult shoot takes about 45 minutes to and hour and a half depending on whether you'd like make-up done and if other family members will be involved. Photoshoots involving babies and children take anywhere from 1 to 2 hours, allowing time for breaks and feeding. If your child is sick or very unhappy the day of the shoot please consider rescheduling so you can be sure of the best possible results.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"><b><i>How do I choose my pictures?<br> </i> </b>       Kathryn will contact you to view proofs of the work 2-3 weeks after the shoot. A one hour appointment is set for this process. If you feel you'd like more time kindly arrange this with Kathryn beforehand. It is recommended you bring whomever you'd like with you to help your decisions. Kathryn will be as involved in the process as you wish and can offer input re: image choices & framing if you are interested. Those who place orders of $500 or higher will be given the proofs as a bonus gift.</font></p> <p><font face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif" size="2"><b><i>Where's the studio?</i></b><br> The studio is "Ironworks Studio" located at the northeast corner of Main St. at Alexander.
