| I absolutely love the photos of my family! You captured each child's personality and I am so amazed at your talent and being able to draw that out in the art of your photos. My husband and I, and the kids, had such a fun time at the photo shoot because you made us feel comfortable, and this comes out in the photos. Hi Kathryn, I just had to write you a short note to thank you and say how happy I am with how the photos turned out. I wasn't prepared for how beautiful they would look once they were enlarged and framed. I look now at the photos of Jane and can't believe how much she has changed in the weeks since our session. I am absolutely thrilled that we chose you to help us record such a precious time for our little family. I especially love the pictures of Jane sleeping - I can't believe that I almost forgot how she used to scrunch and contort her face and body when she was going to sleep and waking up. You captured so much of who we are as a family - so much of who our baby Wyatt is - there just aren't any words to say what I'd like to, other than thank you from the bottom of our hearts! We have truly enjoyed the uniqueness of our photographs and the special way they capture the true nature of our children's personalities and their relationships with each other. They individually portray our kids' many traits - mischievous and angelic, all at once! I particularly cherish the photos of our children together laughing and loving. You have taught us that the best pictures are of the wacky moments and of the kids just being kids.
I have noticed that other people spend a long time looking at the pictures we have displayed. No one just walks by them with a casual, "that's a cute picture." Rather, they seem caught up in them and delighted by what a photograph can capture. Your pictures are works of art , for people who want much more than an average portrait. |

I just wanted to drop you a note to let you know how happy I am with all the photos. I know my relatives are going to love their gifts. As I said before, we have a difficult time photographing Kira, she just never seems to look like herself in pictures. Somehow you managed to capture both of the girls personality and spirit in all the portraits, we're thrilled! Thanks again! |
We almost feel like Kathryn has become a part of our family...after Seeing the birth announcements she had made for friends, I had her photograph me while I was still pregnant, just weeks before my due date. She came back when our son was a newborn, and even though he was not a very cooperative model, the expressions she captured were so amazing that we went on to make a photo gallery in the front hallway of our home. I can't tell you how many people commented on the ensuing birth announcements she made! When we decided to get married later the same year...Kathryn not only designed the perfect wedding invitation but once again captured the most beautiful memories for us. Just a short note to tell you how much we are enjoying our photographs (finally got them hung) AND that we have received so many compliments on our holiday card that I have lost count! You would definitely have people lining up to work with you if you ever decide to do an Asian tour. |

I can't
tell you how many times in the last month I have been told “you must have
the most beautiful children in the world….your Christmas card was
stunning!” to which I
faithfully reply “thank you, but it is the magic of this photographer…my
children open up to her and can't help but be anything but beautiful in
her lens”.
SO…that was a very lengthy way of saying thank you!

Aubrey is such a thoughtful, introspective baby with so many moods, each her own. She is probably more herself than she will ever be. I live in a constant paradox between wanting her to stay just as she is, her tiny, chubby, yummy little self, while the other half of me can't wait to see what's next. I chose you because I didn't want a cookie cutter, sears photo - children being enticed to smile and reflect their parents wishes, rather than their own inner selves. I think it takes time to understand that children shouldn't be pressured to perform for photos - because I found myself asking you if you wanted her to smile, imposing my own pressures on Aubrey, it's only upon reflection that I understand what I was doing. I think you have already discovered the ability to just watch, wait and observe the natural beauty in a child's face.
Your photos have captured the moment, beautifully lit and composed, leaving
me satisfied to live in the present, for at least the next three months, as
the past has been recorded, for me, for her, and for her daddy too. You know when a stunning bride enters the church and everyone's mouth drops open and you hear "huuuu" - that's what happened when I showed everyone the large picture of Aubrey - everything is so absolutely beautiful - I am sooooo happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We love you!!!!! - and the DVD is so amazing - I forgot about all the touching photos - Aubrey watched and danced to the music - and everyone else at home was in tears - |

waited for so long and then to find out we were having twins. Twins!
Pregnancy for us was such an incredible time we wanted some pictures
to capture that. Little did we know I would need a day pass from the
hospital to do the photo shoot. I will never forget that day, cutting
my hospital braclet off and just standing long enough for each shot.
The results were definitely worth the effort. Our pictures are so intimate
and special. We love them!
And
now… I could use a little bedrest. Our baby girls are even more wonderful
than we could have imagined. So tiny and sweet, we just marvel at what
we have created. Each smile and expression, tiny baby hands and feet,
you look and look again and they’ve already changed. Kathryn’s photos
have captured some of these most special times. She has been completely
professional, and yet, has made us feel so comfortable we consider her
more than our photographer, our friend. She has shared a part in these
precious beginnings and has made them into beautiful photos that we
will cherish forever. |

I just had to
take the time to tell you how pleased I am with the photos. And what
good timing, just before Mother's Day, on a day that I felt exhausted
and frazzled . I was ripping the paper off the frames when an old
dear family friend and surrogate mother to me dropped in, she (who
despises all material possessions) was in awe and said, "oh,
these are priceless!" Just seeing the beautiful faces of our
family captured in moments of joy and contentment made me feel better.
I am sure that whenever I walk into our family room and see them I
will be reminded of the blessings they are. Thank You. Thank you.

just opened the pictures and as usual everything is perfect. Not to
sound vain, but I look good thanks to you. By the way, get ready
because you will be doing my birth announcements, I just found out
I am pregnant! So for all my kids and family photos you are the
